Social Media and Websites are somewhat similar but are very different as well. That's what todays post is about, Social Media vs. Websites. Lets talk about websites first, what are they good for? Well websites can help businesses get noticed by the public, they can also help with sales of a business. If a small business is struggling, building a website might help improve their business. But there are some cons of just having a website. Businesses with just a website might having a hard time connecting with their customers/audience, there is little to no engagement if people just have a website, and businesses might have a hard time getting discovered by the public but there is no way to market their business without people clicking their website. Now lets talk about social media, what is it good for? Social media can fix websites' cons. Social media can help brands/businesses promote and market themselves, people might even see their social media post before clicking on a website. Social media is also a great way for businesses/brands to reach audiences and a great way to get feedback from the public, but their are some downsides. Keeping up with social media is some tough work, you have to be consistent with your social media posts for your audiences/customers, if you don't its more likely for people to leave. Also you can't sell anything on social media, customers can't by any products on them. But I think businesses/brands should have the best of both worlds, they can have a website to sell products and have social media to have a way to reach customers quick and easy.
